Human Ecorche

This human ecorche is from a workshop with Alicia Ponzio in San Francisco. The 9 month course was practicing everything from skeletal structure to superficial muscle and fascia. This piece is 1:2 scale, 80cm, NSP Medium on aluminum and steel armature.
I'm a strong supporter of continuing study to maintain knowledge and grow skill as an artist. Sculpting in clay is my favorite thing to do when I get the opportunity to step away from my desk.
